sojourn church

Sojourn is church plant in Sterling Heights, MI, led by Pastor Steve VanNoort (our former pastor).  They are in their 5th year and growing!

Josh and Mandy Shaarda

The Shaardas and their 5 children have been living and working in the village of Obule, Uganda since 2007. Their life work is to "Follow me as I follow Christ." ​

Refuge Church

Refuge Church is a church plant in Cadillac, MI.  We have had the privilege of supporting The Refuge Church since their beginning in 2021.

Pastor Paul Mpindi

Pastor Mpindi and his wife Charlotte live in Grand Rapids, MI, where Pastor Mpindi serves as Executive Director of Mission French Africa, producing a daily Gospel radio program followed by more than 20 million people in French speaking Africa.

Eric and Stacey Hoeksema

Eric and Stacey and their 4 children serve in Hungary and Ukraine and use the English language as a means to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ, the forgiveness of sins, the freedom that is ours in Christ, and the gift of eternal life. 

David

Lucas CRC supports a missionary serving in central Asia. Due to the nature of his ministry, we can't share any details about the work he's doing to bring the gospel to this region.

matthew and emily slack

Matthew and Emily serve in North London among Turkish immigrants. The Turkish people they live among have a strong cultural identity, but few have heard the gospel. The Slacks' vision is to see Turkish disciples of Jesus created, encouraged, and equipped in London and beyond. 

Project canefire

Lucas CRC has had a long partnership with Project Canefire which improves lives in the Dominican Republic by providing wells for clean water, constructing essential buildings, and teaching marketable skills like sewing.
