We love our kids!

Babies-Toddlers

All children are always welcome to be in the sanctuary during our worship services, but for the sake of parents, our nursery is available for all infants through 3 year olds. Our nursery is staffed during both services by caring volunteers who are Safe Church certified. You can know and trust that your little ones will be well cared for when you join us for church!

Children and Worship

Our children are not just the future of the church, they are the church! Although all children are always welcome to stay in the sanctuary with the adults for worship, all children ages 3 to 5 are invited to participate in Children and Worship during our morning service. We offer Children and Worship during the school year (except on Sundays when we celebrate The Lord’s Supper).  The children are dismissed from the sanctuary part way through the service and stay in Children and Worship until the end of the service.

Sunday School

All elementary aged kids are invited to join us after the morning service for Sunday School! In Sunday School, they will learn the stories of the Bible, what these stories tell us about God and salvation through Jesus Christ, as well as practical lessons about how we should live in obedience to God.

Cadets

During the school year, Lucas CRC hosts Cadets, a ministry for elementary-aged boys. We want our young men to become more Christlike in all areas of life, so we meet together every other week on a weekday evening from 6 to 8 pm to work toward badges, Bible study, and enjoy lots of physical activity.  See the calendar for exact meeting dates.
